This notice explains how Starrise Apartments LLC uses information in its resident portal and iPhone app.

Information we use

We use resident identity and contact information, property and unit information, rent and payment history, account access records, lease documents and signatures, messages, and maintenance requests and photos.

Why we use it

We use this information to operate resident accounts, maintain rent records, process requested payments, provide leases and notices, respond to maintenance requests, communicate with residents, prevent misuse, and meet business or legal recordkeeping needs.

Service providers

Stripe processes online payments and bank connections. Starrise does not receive a resident’s complete card number or online-banking password. Hosting, email, and other operational providers process limited data on Starrise’s behalf to run the service.

Sharing and retention

Starrise does not sell resident information. Information may be shared with property-management personnel, service providers, or authorities when reasonably necessary to provide the service, protect people or property, or comply with law. Starrise requires its operational providers to protect information consistently with this policy and applicable requirements. Records are retained for the resident relationship and as reasonably needed for accounting, legal, security, and operational purposes.

Your choices

Residents can update contact and login details in the portal, disable courtesy late-rent reminders, and contact Starrise about access, correction, or deletion questions. Some accounting, lease, payment, or legal records may need to be retained.
